1.0 NAME OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT

Care for charity organisation

2.0 OBJECTIVES OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT

                          i.          To provide the daily needs for senior citizen

-        To give donation of clothes that collected from the university student as well as the public to Care 1 Centre.

 * To be confirmed with Person In charge of Care 1 Centre

                        ii.          To work as a volunteer.

-        To spend time on senior citizen and aid them by cleaning Care 1 Centre.

                      iii.          To organize activities for old folks in Care 1 Centre nursing home

-        A fun day which including activities like singing, dancing, acting, stories telling and the others.

3.0 PLAN OF ACTIONS TO ACHIEVE THE OBJECTIVES

In this project we will be carrying out a few activities:

      i.          Organize a fun day

-        Organize activities like singing, dancing, acting and stories telling to the old folks. This fun day will be conducted on 27 February 2016 and 28 February 2016.

    ii.          Fundraising

-        Provide a car wash service to collect donation from university students, university lecturers as well as the public and to be conducted in one Friday on March, 2016.

  iii.          Provide daily needs

-        Collect old or new clothes from university students, lecturer and the public and to be conducted on March, 2016.

4.0 TARGET GROUP

                          i.          Senior citizens in Care 1 Centre

                        ii.          Students of University of  Malaya

                      iii.          Lecturers of University of Malaya

5.0 BENEFITS TO THE TARGET GROUP

From this activity, both university students and senior citizen in Care 1 centre will gain mutual benefits. By having variety of communications, quality of life of old folks can be improved as our students try to bring happiness and joyfulness to them. Students would be able to gain precious experience through this project. Besides, students may able to learn skills of associate, communicate and be patient with old folks. Lecturers of University of Malaya also can take this opportunity to provide helps to senior citizens in needs. In conclude, both sides will have benefits from this project and this project would also help to form a warm and caring society unconsciously.

6.0 EXPECTED OUTCOME FROM THE PROPOSE PROJECT

                i.                 The students would be able to experience volunteering

              ii.                    The students would have the opportunity to serve society.

            iii.                    The students’ organizing skills can be improved.

            iv.                    To gives awareness to students about social responsibility towards senior citizens.

              v.                    The students can work together with group members and community.

7.0 BUDGETED COST STRUCTURE

All costs including transportation fees and tools will be deducted from account of fundraising.

Budgeted cost: RM30 per person.
